He just took each day doing his best and doing what was right and God raised him up. I think the line from the devotional that caught my attention was something like, &quot;you can&#39;t do your best work if you&#39;re always trying to figure out a way of escape.&quot; Joseph didn&#39;t try to escape...he kept doing what was right and that was what got him noticed and moved into a place of leadership.
