Good Grief

Tonite at church we had a very interesting subject and it was about death and the reality of how we deal with death through the loss of relationships and every aspect of our lives when we experince grief and to know the impact of good grief vs bad grief. It was a much needed subject for our local body, we all have been through several transition corporately and individually as well.I know last night we received healing and hope in our lives. I want be able to express, all that was said, but I will share what impact it made on me tonite. Every birth involves the death of something... I begin to think about everytime a relationship changed in my life or a physical death of a love one, How my life has birth into something totally new and each death has produced a compassion and a closeness to God inside of me. I hope to express my transperancy, in my writing. When I arrive to Grace Temple Ministries, I was dead in the grieving process, the loss of my mother and brother, through tragic deaths and I also was experincing the death of a church relationship, that had meant dear to my heart, I was allowed to walk through my pain, without the fake Church face approach. I was so overwhelmed at how, My brothers and sisters in Christ allowed me to go through the grieving process, in a healthy approach. I was allowed every one of my emotions to be expressed, in a Christian manner with hope and eventually I was able to come to reality that somethings are final and you learn to count what brought you a smile and a blessing to your heart and allow healing to take place in my heart, mind, body and spirit. and I didn't camp out in the Valley of Despair, longer than I should have. No one at my church has paid me to say nor will I get any brownie points for what I am about to say. We at Grace Temple are no way near where some think that they are and I am sure we could improve in many areas, and by all standards we are not the only local church in Hattiesburg, MS , their are several relational building churches here. God has blessed our local body to be about relational growth in Christ and inturn we develope healthy relationships within the body of Christ with one another.God wants his body to be whole in every area a good indication if you are in a healthy relational church is can your Pastor handle discussions and questions about any matter? Life consist of more than church expressions: such as Praise the Lord, we know the right words to pretend everything is alright, but do we know how to show our words in actions. I told you I would not do well express what it meant to me, the word touch so many places that I had been and will be again at some point in my life . I am not trying to get you to join our Church, so many tactics out there for this and that. Our aim and goal should be that we see the kingdom of God be built in the lives of God's people but I am going to recommend that you get the Cd entitled Good Grief. Who is in your prescence?

In this day and busy time that we live in it is rarely that we take the time to smell the roses or less notice the people in our surroundings.. It is amazing the people that come in our presence on a daily bases and we look and treat them as nothing. I know that the word speaks of how Zechariah was startled when the angel approached him and said I have heard your prayers......out of all Zechariah's praying yet he truly did not believe. Our belief systems always prevail our actual reaction to receiving the promise or some might say he was startled at the Angel, because of whatever and my thoughts. Why would we be startled at God's showing up in our presence in some shape, form or fashion? How many times do we shrug off who is in our presence can you image how Zechariah had been so busy working in the temple and he didn't recognize that God's manifested presence was about to shift his ministry work. We get so established in traditions and fluff and many times miss the opportunity to serve who is in our presence, because we are so busy serving the future.Today I was fortunate to meet a young man who worked for his city government, he wasn't the mayor or some Department head, but what I recognized he was important to the kingdom of God and his today, looks nothing like his tomorrow will be, I could have made the decision to shrug him off as a nobody, but God needed to manifest himself in our presence and it is a wonderful feeling and blessing to see God restore one back into fellowship with him. Ask your self How many times God has said to you that I heard your prayer and now you don't believe me for my manifested results.....I am in your presence today

When you Desire to be Used, God can use you

While listening to the Costa Rica Mission team, talk about their experince, My heart went back to my personal experince in Kenya, I do believe that I am to do more in and through Kenya, in God's timing. To be used of God is a humbeling experince, and the good thing is, it is not about us, we Americans tend to relate everything back to us. My Church, My ministries, my my my you name it we are the my people. While listening to the lyrics of a song posted on the video the words came alive it stated Greater things are yet to come. Greater things are still to be done in this city.......We have unlimited poetential and resources. With all this said and done yet the gospel has not been filled all over the earth, but we are fastly approaching the time of fulfillment of God's prophecy. As I was sitting in the room, with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ I thought to myself we must be in a pursuit of spreading the gospel throughout the whole earth. We must use our hands to feed and clothe the naked both naturally and spirtually, and I thank God for those who use there feet to go, we must be willing to use, what we have to bless other's no matter how small it seems. If you become the solution for other's, when you need an answer other's will be your solution.

Delight yourself in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of you heart Psalms 37

God Does Hear and See

So you think that the Lord forgot about you, let me inform you not so-Each one of us have many paths that we must go down. The problem is when we have to go down a path, that we didn't plan or would have chosen for our lives. The word of God has so many example, but lets look at Hagar: She obeyed the request her mistress to have a child for her husband, and the results was that she did conceived and her mistress Sarai despised Hagar and Sarah treated Hagar with anger, resentment due to the fact she tried to help God with his plan to bless her and Abram.. The ill treatment was more than Hagar could bear, so she fled from her mistress Gen 16:7 And the angel of the Lord found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness (A place in ones life where things look dead and there is seemly is no hope.)by the fountain in the way to Shur.vs 8 And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. vs9 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands. vs 10 and the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will multiply thy seed and exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. vs 11 And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael: because the Lord hath heard thy afflictions.vs 13 And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me for she said, Have I also here looked after him that Seeth me?

Though many times we make a mess of trying to work out God plans, he stays in his position on and work things out for our good Romans 8:28

Seed Sowing

Every Seed produces a Harvest...... that has been a quote given to me by the Lord to help me understand somethings I have been through and somethings that I will go through in the future.
Listen and hear this word:

Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

And as I look around me today, the earth still remains------and until it is no longer remaining we all have a process that we must go through, no matter if you are born again or not that is call the process of seeding and timing elapse and harvesting. process, the Key to your harvest is what you sow. Don't sow corn seeds and expect potatoes to come.

I ask you today to sow what you want to harvest..... and if you have sown things in your life..... dig up those bad seeds. That is done through first acknowledging you sowed the wrong seed,(Forgiveness to others and yourself) and repent and sow no more of that, then you grow in patience and allow time to take its course of action and then you will reap a better harvest. This principal applies to every area of our lives.

NEVER FORGET THAT YOU ARE A SEED SOWER
